Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms

We develop parenteral and ophthalmic dosage forms—solutions, suspensions, emulsions, lyophilized powders, and eye drops—matched to each drug’s physicochemistry, PK goals, and stability needs. Plus, proven capability in nanoparticle-based forms.

Let's Talk
From eye drops (single/multidose) to lyophilized powders, we match your drug to the right dosage form.

Ophthalmic & Injectable Dosage Forms We Prepare

Solutions

Clear and sterile filtration ready solutions for small molecules and peptides

Best for: API which are freely soluble with aqueous excipients

We watch: syringeability & injectability (injectables) and clarity (topical ophthalmics)

Routes: IV, SC, IM, ID, ocular injections (e.g., intravitreal), topical ophthalmic

Suspensions

Dispersed drug particles in high concentrations—mostly aqueous.

Best for: Poorly water-soluble APIs when the use solubilizing excipients is not possible

We watch: sterilization methods, redispersibility, storage stability

Routes: SC/IM (depot)ocular injections (e.g., suprachoroidal injection), topical ophthalmics

Emulsions

Kinetically-stable, lipid-based vehicle for hydrophobic drugs

Best for: Hydrophobic drugs which require dose or PK tuning (retention/ release)

We watch: sterilization, redispersibility, storage stability

Routes: SC, IM, IV, topical ophthalmics

Lyophilized Powders

(incl. lyo-enabled self-assembly)

Solid porous ‘cake’ made by removing water by sublimation—redispersed in aqueous media before administration.

Best for: Hydrophilic or hydrophobic APIs with shelf-life challenges, and candidates that benefit from nanoparticle delivery (e.g., PK tuning).

We watch: residual water/solvent, lyophilized cake morphology, reconstitution properties (e.g., time, and particle size)

Routes: IV, SC, IM, ID, ocular injections (e.g., intravitreal), topical ophthalmic

How We Suggest the Right Dosage Form

We select the least-complex form that works, then validate against the following criteria
to balance
performance, manufacturing, and IP:

  • Drug concentration required
  • Pharmacokinetics goals
  • Tolerability
  • Syringeability & Injectability
  • Sterility strategy
  • Stability
  • COGs
  • IP claimability
